Secline Beach Phase 3: Concept Design Review
|
NTPUD is sharing Phase 3 concepts for Secline Beach and asking for community input before the design moves further.
|
Two community input sessions are scheduled at Secline Beach:
• Friday, July 17, 2026, 4 to 6 PM
• Friday, July 31, 2026, 4 to 6 PM
|
This is the moment to look at what is being proposed and help place what goes where. Possible improvements include restrooms, picnic areas, kayak and paddleboard storage, e-bike and EV charging, transit connections, walkable links to nearby beaches, and environmental improvements.
|
Why this matters: Secline is small, central, and used in everyday ways. The best design will come from the people who know the beach's daily patterns: quick swims, board storage, bike arrivals, grandparents and strollers, off-peak dog walks, and the little access details that decide whether a local beach works.
