Public Hearing on Lakeview Development Project

On June 27, 2024, the Placer Planning Commission is hosting a public hearing about the new Lakeview Development in Kings Beach (Public Hearing Notice PDF). This project is much more aligned with the type of small-scale redevelopment we’re advocating for in North Tahoe.

Project Details:

• Location: 8716 and 8720 North Lake Boulevard
• Size: 18,206 square feet
• Buildings: Two three-story buildings (one is 45 feet 6 inches tall, the other is 35 feet tall)
• Includes:
  • 15 tourist accommodation units
  • 9 market-rate rental units
  • 1 workforce housing unit
  • 1,534 square feet of office space

The project aims to keep Kings Beach’s charm, protect our environment, support local businesses, and create more public spaces.
