What This Map Is For—and How You Can Use It

This map is for you, your neighbors, and anyone who spends time in our North Tahoe communities—Kings Beach, Tahoe City, Carnelian Bay, Tahoe Vista, Dollar Hill, and all the spots in between.

If you see something that’s broken, unsafe, or just needs attention, this is where you can speak up. You don’t need to know who to call. Just report it here.

Here’s what you can pin on the map:

  • Potholes or cracked pavement
  • Sidewalks that are broken, blocked, or missing
  • Graffiti on signs, fences, or buildings
  • Streetlights that don’t work
  • Missing or damaged signs (stop signs, crosswalk signs, etc.)
  • Trash that’s piling up
  • Crosswalks that are unsafe or hard to see
  • Cut-through traffic or places where speeding is a problem
  • Bike paths or trails that need repairs
  • Anything that makes it harder to walk, roll, or ride safely

If you can, take a quick photo and upload it. It helps others see the problem clearly—and it’s especially helpful for tracking repairs.

Your reports show us what’s really happening on the ground, from everyday annoyances to bigger safety issues. When neighbors use this tool together, we start to see patterns, highlight priorities, and push for change that fits our communities—not just seasonal visitors or top-down plans.

Thanks for being part of making North Tahoe safer and stronger, one report at a time.
