We love walking, biking, and enjoying our beautiful area. But traffic and speeding cars make our streets dangerous. We want to change that to make our towns safer and more fun for everyone.
Our Goals
1. Slow Down Traffic
We advocate for using methods like speed bumps, narrower roads, and better crosswalks to slow down cars. This will make it safer to walk and bike.
2. Better Walkways and Bike Lanes
We want to encourage the building of more and safer bike lanes, and safe crosswalks. This will make it easier and safer for everyone to get around without a car.
3. Smart Parking
By supporting better parking management, we can reduce traffic and make our streets more pleasant for people. This means using smart parking systems that keep cars from taking over our streets.
Benefits for Everyone
- Safety: Slower cars and better paths will reduce accidents.
- Local Business: More people walking and biking means more customers for local shops.
- Clean Air: Fewer cars on the road means less pollution.
- Community Feel: Safer streets make our towns more enjoyable places to live and visit.
