What You’ll Get from This Event
If you live in North Tahoe, you’ve probably wondered:
- How will I know when to evacuate?
- What are my routes?
- Who’s making the decisions?
- What do I do if roads are jammed?
This is your chance to get real answers from the people in charge.
Placer County Supervisor Cindy Gustafson is bringing together:
- Placer County Sheriff’s Office
- CAL FIRE
- Local fire districts
- Office of Emergency Services
They’ll talk briefly as a panel, then you’ll get to walk around and talk one-on-one at info booths.
Who Should Come
If you live anywhere in North Tahoe—Kings Beach, Tahoe Vista, Carnelian Bay, or Tahoe City—this is for you. No registration needed.
Why It Matters
Wildfires are getting worse, not better. Power outages, traffic jams, late warnings—these are all real risks here. This event is about helping you get clear on what to do, how to prepare, and where to go when the time comes.
Join your neighbors in getting ready.
